Tales of Land and Sea by Joseph Conrad
Tales of Land and Sea by Joseph Conrad, published by Hanover House, 1953.
This edition has an introduction by William McFee, and illustrations by Richard M. Powers.
This copy is in very good condition. The binding is tight and the pages are intact and clean. There is an incredible pasted-down bookplate that says “From the People of Greater Philadelphia to the People of Latin America” (I wish I knew why the book is still in America!) The leatherette and cloth outer boards are very good. There is a faint stain on the front and on the spine.
